Your Reputation is Your Currency

All your social marketing efforts can be flushed down the drain faster than you can say, “Where’d my clients go?” by a few well-placed negative comments. Especially if you’re in an industry that has clients very active on the internet. Not managing your reputation can sometimes cost you dollars, literally. Are you doing anything to manage yours?

Reputation management is a growing niche of social marketing for VAs, that is a very valuable resource for online businesses.

  • Regularly monitor what is being said about you online in order to catch negative comments quickly
  • Do your part to regularly add valuable, positive content about your business to stay at the top of these sites (and push any negative comments down!)

Having a strong plan that incorporates these two objectives should be able to head off any reputation disasters, or nip them in the bud when they start. Can you afford to rebuild your reputation at the cost of your business? Most can’t.

This is a valuable point and one that I’d like to see more conversation on.
When it comes to web prescence as an observer I have had reservations not so much on what people are saying but discerning integrity and customer respect.
I have good instincts and lots of people experience but what about someone who doesnt.
I am intriqued by this article and wondering if someone is focusing on watching and cleaning up negativity about themselves is this not potentially attending to a facade and where does someone go who is new to the web wanting to check out integrity and value.

I can’ t really provide prices as each of these can be done on whatever scale you wish. Most of these services can be done on a short term trial basis without any need for longer term commitment. If you’ re interested in finding out more about any of these services or would like me to make a recommendation for your website please email me at info@ chris- smith- web. com.
